AP Exam Information: Apr 26, 2022
Dear AP Students and Families,
We hope this email finds you all well. You are receiving this e-mail because you are scheduled to have 1 or more Higher Lath AP exams between May 3 and May 20, 2022, and nosotros wanted to provide some of import logistical information for you.

Timing of Exams

Other Helpful Information
Classes are in session during AP Exams. Students are expected to attend classes every mean solar day, with the exception of the time they are taking their AP examination.
Students taking AP exams will miss some classes on the days of their exams. Students are responsible for any missed work. Teachers are notified who is taking each test. Students are marked absent-minded by their regular classroom teacher, and absences volition be coded correctly by the Omnipresence Function after the exam.
While students are expected to nourish classes subsequently a morning exam, and attend classes earlier an afternoon exam, we understand that some families may choose to have their students dismissed after a morn examination, or arrive afterward for an afternoon exam, and exist absent-minded for classes. Dear Families,
Our "Stay Safe, Stay Open" plan has succeeded in allowing us to go on our schools open and remain amidst the safest places for immature people to be during the COVID-19 pandemic, even as we have lifted the mask mandate for students in K-12. Grade Programming Information for 2022 - 2023
Dear LaGuardia families,
It is hard to believe that Leap Break is upon u.s.a. in less than two weeks. It seems like a brusk while ago we were making preparations to begin the school year planning all in-person instruction.
When we return from Leap Pause, the process for requesting classes for side by side yr begins. Each year, LaGuardia participates in an internal process where we evaluate how successful nosotros were in the various parts of student scheduling and college and career planning. Senior Activities Announcement 2022
It is with great excitement that we announce - for the first fourth dimension since the COVID-19 Pandemic began - nosotros are able to concord both the LaGuardia Senior Prom and Graduation, in-person, in venues that will support the entire graduating class and their guests. Our Senior Course Student Government representatives have done an amazing job in the planning process.

Required DOE Notification
Per NYCDOE policy, high school students must meet graduation requirements to participate in their school's graduation ceremony. DOE Family Letter re. Illuminate Pedagogy
Dear Families,
I am writing to provide you with an update apropos a data security incident that involves an online educational vendor that many New York City Department of Pedagogy (DOE) schools utilize: Illuminate Education.
As you may take seen in the news or heard from your child'due south school, Illuminate Pedagogy products (such equally IO Classroom, Skedula, and PupilPath) were offline for a time in January 2022 due to a security incident. Since then, Illuminate has been conducting an investigation to determine whether any students' personally identifiable information was accessed as a effect of this incident. On March 25, Illuminate notified the DOE that its investigation was consummate, and that some students' personally identifiable information was accessed past someone without authorization.
