Some of those are pretty good. How the hell is Assassin's Creed $15? That thing retails for $20 and you can buy it far cheaper most of the time.

Same with those old Just Dance games and Portal 2.

I had today off and didn't take any trades in yesterday on my shift, so I can't confirm this to be true or not. But yes, if the higher than average credit values are considered a promotion by the POS then it very likely wouldn't stack with the 50% extra bonus. The POS automatically inputs any ongoing promotions, and if there are multiple going on then it will give you whichever is best for you in that given transaction.

It's worth a shot. I can verify this tomorrow morning when I open up, but if the guy on CAG is an employee then he's probably right.

I rarely trade either, to be honest. I think the last game I traded in was Ninja Gaiden 2, and if I remember correctly I put it towards a Fable 2 preorder. So that would have been back in 2008.

Depending on the promos going on though, people get a decent amount for some pretty old games that most stores have tons of in stock.

Actually, just to clarify, it's not only for Pro members. You can have the free card and get the bonus credit. Pro members just get "more", as described, because of the normal 10% bonus the card gives.

Oh god i had so many freaking rare games that are going for mucho dollars on ebay. They were in pristine new condition, and i traded them like an idiot. Never again! Thankfully i kept a bunch of the ones i really liked so i still have those. And with the magic of emulators i have been able to reclaim a lot of the stuff i once owned.

Portal 2 gets $20 - It's on clearance at Kmart and Sears for $9.99

I don't know. That sounds pretty good to me. I traded in 2 games and fully preordered Metal Gear Rising (had it on Amazon, but I want the DLC).

Always the usual the case with this sort of thing? Otherwise, i'd be in.

Also makes me regret not hoarding The Last Story copies during that amazon sales like some gaffers did. Would be perfect flip.

Ok, instead of ripping Gamestop, these are really good values, as good as some of these games will ever get. I mean, they are giving freaking $15 for Assassins Creed 1.

If you don't like Gamestop, and dont trade in games, why even post here? I know, its Gaf, and that is how it works. But some of you could have saved your time and just not posted.

I took in Borderlands 2, NCAA 13, and Portal 2 and got $80 Credit. I picked up Little Big Planet Vita (its on sale for $20) and a 16 GB Vita Card (it was $60). I have .02 cents of credit left over. I was about to buy Little Big Planet from Best Buy since they have a $10 off for Gamers Unlocked Members, so I was willing to pay $30 for it.

I just looked at it like "Hey, I am paying $30 for LBP Vita and $50 for a 16GB Card" I was fine with that. I know I could have got the card on amazon for $45 but I wanted one now.

I was happy with that deal, I got Borderlands 2 for $25, Portal for $10 at Kmart, and gave $35 for NCAA 13. I came out ahead and I am cool with that.

If I were to trade in halo 4 I'd be making money since I got it for $20 due to that coupon stacking a while back. Too lazy to bother though and I never even played spartan ops yet.

My Steam account thanks Gamestop. Just traded in a bunch of games to load up for the Steam holiday sale.

Even though Best Buy ran 100% trade in credit for a while, they dramatically lowered the base value of most of the games so that you pretty much get the same amount here. Possibly a bit more than what Best Buy offered for a variety of the older games.

Surprised Dishonored isn't listed here though.
